PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANT'S DAY LUNCHEON
April 22, 2014
Show your staff just how much you appreciate what they do at the Professional Assistant's Day Luncheon. The luncheon features a keynote speaker, fun entertainment and door prizes. Businesses are also able to nominate office personnel for the Professional Assistant of the Year, who is crowned at the luncheon. Because we take pride in recognizing all of the assistants out there, each attendee leaves with a special gift!
The Hermiston Chamber and Blue Mtn Community College team up every year at the Hermiston Conference Center, for this Career Expo. This event exhibits local vendors, diverse industries, career related education centers and employment centers. Throughout the event, workshops are offered covering various topics related to “the art of looking for a job”. Other topics covered may range from writing an impressive resume to starting your own business. We have many local businesses on-site to offer feedback, hints, tips and much more essential information. Benefiting most from the Career Expo are businesses who are currently hiring or looking for trainees, attendees who are searching for training and employment opportunities and those looking to change career paths or to broaden their education.
