Leadership Hermiston is a proven opportunity for community leaders
Class 19 2015-2016
Leadership Hermiston is a 10-month program with full-day sessions once a month designed to inform participants of current concerns involving our community, including business, government, agriculture, health services, human needs and services, education, media and the justice system.
While touring different industries, operations and government facilities in the area, the class of 2015-2016, will see how others are giving of their time, talents and resources to help others and to make this a better place to live.
Sitting at the crossroads of interstate highways, railroad, waterways, and power grid, Hermiston is strategically placed to make a great contribution to state, the nation, and the world.
The cost of Leadership Hermiston is $650 for Chamber members and $850 for non-members. The classes are held on the second Tuesday of each month, September through June. Participants will be expected to attend all classes to be eligible for graduation. Tuition is due upon notification of selection and not later than the first week of September. Tuition is non-refundable.
Graduation is a special evening of celebration held the second Tuesday of June for participants and their guest. Participants will be able to reflect on elements of the program that have laid the foundation for growth as a leader within the community.
