Adopt Your Street

The City of Hermiston and Hermiston Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to bring you the Adopt Your Street program! This is a way for civic minded groups or businesses in the Hermiston area to have a hands-on approach to the beautification of our city. It promotes a sense of community pride and gives you the opportunity to build camaraderie within your organization.

We provide high vis vests, litter grabbers, gloves, trash bags. After your clean up just return the gear to the chamber and the city will pick up the full trash bags from your street!

Volunteers must register with the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce and agree to adopt a section of street for two years, organizing a clean-up at least twice a year. Equipment and safety training are provided.
